This project was a live TV studio production with 20+ crew members, livestreamed on the university's YouTube channel. I worked as the Graphics Designer, Operator, and as a VT Editor.

The brief for this solo project was to create a short, academically backed-up video essay exploring an element of film and TV production. I chose to look into why directors may still choose to shoot on analogue film in a digital age.

The goal for this project was to individually put together a green-screen fiction short using compositing workflows. I scripted, planned, shot, and edited the project using Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Pro Tools to create a convincing composite environment, with a particular focus on lighting, colour grading, visual continuity, and detailed sound design.

The brief for this project was to self-produce a mini-documentary exploring a contemporary issue within the film and TV industry. I chose to investigate how marketing in the industry has evolved. This included an original interview with Paul Mellor, a founder of Mellor & Smith and an executive producer on Boiling Point (2021).
